Lorenzo Lamas
Biography
Lorenzo Lamas is an American actor who trained at Tony Barr's Film Actors Workshop and picked up his first television part in 1976, followed by a small role in the musical Grease (1978). He became widely known as Lance Cumson on the CBS prime time drama Falcon Crest, playing the part through its nine seasons from 1981 to 1990 and earning a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He later built a reputation in action movies, including the Snake Eater trilogy and Gladiator Cop (1995), and from 1992 to 1997 he led the syndicated series Renegade as Reno Raines, a cop wrongly accused. He also appeared as Hector Ramirez on The Bold and the Beautiful from 2004 to 2006, judged Are You Hot?, and took stage roles in The King and I, Dracula, The Fantasticks and A Chorus Line. His executive producing credits include Night of the Warrior, Ulterior Motives and Mom and Dad Save the World.

Getting ready for a role
Lamas kept his hair long, past his shoulders, but cut it short after the fourth season of Renegade ended, so he wore a long-haired wig while filming the final season.

Lamas earned a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo and black belts in Shotokan Karate, Ju jitsu and Aikido, skills he showcased in action films.
