Kevin Dillon

Biography

Kevin Dillon is an American actor who was born in New Rochelle, New York, and raised in Mamaroneck. He began acting in television and film in the 1980s, first drawing notice for his leading role as Ed Rooney in Heaven Help Us (1985) and then breaking through as the soldier Bunny in Platoon (1986). He went on to play the drummer John Densmore in The Doors (1991) and took starring roles in The Blob (1988) and No Escape (1994). On television, he had a main part on That's Life from 2000 to 2002 and later found a career resurgence as Johnny Drama Chase on Entourage (2004 to 2011), earning three Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe nomination. He returned to that role in Entourage (2015). His other credits include Hotel for Dogs (2009), How to Be a Gentleman from 2011 to 2012, and Reagan (2024), in which he played Jack L. Warner.
