Plot summary
Amy works as a chef and dreams of the day she will have a cooking show of her own. In the apartment next door lives Saffron, a former child actress who vanished from the screen long ago. Saffron grew up with a tyrannical stage mother, has dealt with an eating disorder since childhood, and finds closeness with other people difficult. Amy watched her on television as a girl and cannot believe her luck at finding her idol living so close. The two women sense a connection between them, and each is grappling with psychological troubles that are beginning to overtake her life.
