Plot summary
Orlando Friar, a former hacker, is given a choice by an anonymous criminal who has rigged the chair he is sitting in: break into banking institutions, or the bomb under him is detonated. The jobs he is handed grow more complex as the demands continue, and refusal or an attempt to get away brings the same threat. Bomb-squad veteran Wallace Reed is outside, trying to work out who is behind the demands and how to get into the booby-trapped building. Orlando's family is pulled into the crisis as the attacker widens his list of targets, and questions about his past in the hacking world come up.
