Biography

Jon Abrahams is an American actor and film director who was born in New York City and attended Saint Ann's School in Brooklyn. He first appeared on screen in Larry Clark's Kids and went on to roles in Boiler Room (2000) and My Boss's Daughter (2003). He is best known for playing Bobby Prinze in Scary Movie (2000), Denny Byrnes in Meet the Parents (2000) and Dalton Chapman in House of Wax (2005). On television he has had parts on Boston Public, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Mentalist and Criminal Minds, and he was DJ Jonny on the fourth season of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. He made his directorial debut with All at Once, released in 2018, and he also directed Clover and the thriller Exploited.
