George Cheung
Biography
Actor and stunt performer George Cheung, born and raised in Hong Kong, has filled more than 200 film and television parts since 1975, usually as supporting villains and henchmen. He trained in martial arts as a child, then moved to the United States for a biology degree at the University of San Francisco. His first screen work came in 1975, on San Francisco productions including the series The Streets of San Francisco and the film The Killer Elite (1975); he also did stunts for The Enforcer. Guest roles followed on shows such as Magnum, P.I., Seinfeld, The West Wing and Lost. His films include Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985), Fist of the North Star (1995), Rush Hour (1998), Starsky & Hutch (2004) and Mongolian Death Worm (2010). He voiced Wei Cheng in Grand Theft Auto V in 2013, and in 2008 received an Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Award for Excellence in Arts and Entertainment.
