Starsky & Hutch (2004) on Netflix

Plot summary

In 1975, Bay City detectives David Starsky and Ken Hutchinson are made partners as punishment for their recent antics. Starsky is a macho cop who loves his Gran Torino and chases minor offenders; Hutch is easy-going and works alongside criminals to investigate them. Reese Feldman has produced a cocaine that leaves no trace in scent or taste. A dealer fails him on a job, and Feldman shoots the man and leaves the body in the bay. It washes ashore a few days later, and the new partners investigate. A clue points them toward Feldman, who says he knows nothing about it, though his wife mentions that the dead man had been dating a cheerleader. Huggy Bear, the pair's informant, sends them to Big Earl's motorcycle bar, and they go in disguised.
