Plot summary
Wounded from a bank robbery, John Taylor stops at a convenience store to buy disinfectant just as the store is robbed. He gets the upper hand on the robber, but she escapes with his wallet. The store's CCTV identifies him and his car, so he abandons the car and walks into an expensive neighborhood. At Warwick Wilson's door he says he was mugged, and Warwick invites him inside, where the table is set and a duck is timed for a dinner party. John drinks red wine and makes small talk, working out his next move and keeping his lies from being uncovered.
