Plot summary
In Vienna, Baroness Teri Hohenfels is married to Franz, a rich older man, and fills the boredom of the marriage with love affairs. She has already tired of Paul, a young cabinet minister, and both men turn up with her at the jewel shop where Franz plans to buy her a diamond ring. Franz and the owner, Hollander, withdraw to argue about the price, and a gentleman thief and his gang arrive to rob the shop. He locks Franz and Paul in the vault and makes Hollander smoke a cigarette treated with marijuana. Taken with each other, she talks him into leaving her unbound, but he goes with her ring, and on the drive home she sends the police the wrong way.
