Plot summary
Quinto sits in the Oklahoma Territory, in country that no state governs, and men outside the law use it as a refuge. Frank and Jesse James ride there after a train robbery. John Rowley, a deputy, is wounded in a quarrel with Captain Hampton and is brought to the town. Mark Rowley, his elder brother and a Texas lawman, rides after him. In Quinto, Mark meets Henryetta Alcott, whose newspaper wants the territory brought into the union, and Colonel Farewell, who leads the cattlemen.
