Plot summary
Derek Zoolander, who retired from modeling and became a recluse after losing custody of his son, is invited to a House of Atoz fashion show in Rome, hosted by Alexanya Atoz, the Queen of Haute Couture. Hansel McDonald, his former rival and best friend, gets the same invitation. The fashion world they return to is now dominated by hipster mogul Don Atari and the model All. Valentina Valencia, an Interpol agent and a former swimsuit model, asks for their help: pop singers are being assassinated, and the last images of them show Derek's signature expression, Blue Steel. Derek also learns that his son, Derek Zoolander Jr., lives at a local orphanage.
