Plot summary
Carl is dating Yaya, who earns more than he does as a model and online influencer, and money and gender roles are the subject of their arguments. The couple is offered a place aboard a superyacht in exchange for promoting the trip on social media. Sailing with them are Dimitry, a Russian oligarch, and his wife Vera; Clementine and Winston, an elderly couple whose fortune came from manufacturing grenades and other weapons; Jarmo, a lonely tech millionaire; and Therese, a wheelchair user with a single German phrase left after a stroke. Paula, head of the guest staff, orders the crew to satisfy every guest's request. The captain, Thomas Smith, stays drunk in his cabin. A storm rises, and the dinner the guests expect goes ahead regardless.
