Justin Bieber
Biography
Justin Bieber is a Canadian singer who first drew attention through YouTube videos of himself performing R&B covers, which led talent manager Scooter Braun to sign him. His debut EP, My World, came out in 2009, and the follow-up album My World 2.0 (2010) gave him a US chart-topper. He moved from teen pop toward dance-pop and R&B on Believe (2012) and then to an EDM-influenced sound on Purpose (2015), the album behind the number-one singles Sorry and Love Yourself. Later records Changes (2020) and Justice (2021) also debuted at number one. Among his honors are two Grammy Awards and a Latin Grammy, and Time named him one of the world's most influential people in 2011. He also appeared in the films Justin Bieber: Never Say Never (2011) and Justin Bieber's Believe (2013).
