Plot summary
Twin brothers Rafe and Victor drive a truck, and they keep missing delivery deadlines. A loan shark named Sweeney keeps trying to repossess the truck. After one more late run, their boss gives them a final job: carry a load of toxic waste from Tech Star to a ship waiting in California, with a countdown timer on the dashboard. Tech Star puts child geniuses to work, and one of them, Holly, has invented a gadget shaped like an ordinary remote control that can switch electronics on and off by code. Since the load is headed to the city where her fiancé lives, she slips into the brothers' cab, and they promise to protect her. Dr. Bruekner, Tech Star's chief executive, sends men to bring her back.
