Plot summary
Gina Wilson is a young mother in rural England in the 1980s. She lives with her husband, Keith Wilson, and their daughter, Alice Wilson. She wants to be a loving wife and mother, but her mental health is declining and her efforts at home are undermined. She develops an obsession with the local weatherman, and the obsession leads to her admission to a psychiatric hospital near the family home.
