Biography
Lily Collins is an English and American actress whose first screen work came at age two in the BBC sitcom Growing Pains. Raised in Los Angeles after her birth in Guildford, she gained wide attention for her supporting part in The Blind Side (2009) and went on to appear in Priest (2011), Abduction (2011), Mirror Mirror (2012), in which she played Snow White, and The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013). Her role as an aspiring actress in Rules Don't Apply (2016) earned her a Golden Globe nomination, while her portrayal of a young woman with anorexia in To the Bone (2017) drew critical praise. Later credits include Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019), Tolkien (2019) and Mank (2020). On television she played Fantine in Les Misérables and, from 2020, has starred as Emily Cooper in Emily in Paris, gaining Golden Globe and Emmy nominations. She made her West End debut in 2024.

Collins took the role of Irene in Bess Wohl's play Barcelona, staged in London, England, in 2024. That production marked her West End debut, and she appeared opposite Álvaro Morte.
A first
Collins took the role of Snow White in the 2012 film Mirror Mirror, which adapts the fairytale Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. In that movie she also gave her first singing performance, a rewritten English cover of "I Believe (in Love)".
