Biography

John DeMita is an American actor who has worked in anime dubbing, film, television, and video games. He is most recognized for voicing Dosu Kinuta, Hiashi Hyuga, and Hizashi Hyuga in Naruto. On television, he had a recurring role as Colonel Clifford Blakely on the military drama JAG. His anime work includes Bleach, Code Geass, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Dragon Ball Super, and One-Punch Man. In film, he voiced Kohroku in Princess Mononoke (1997), appeared in Castle in the Sky (1986) and The Animatrix (2003), and played Glenn Arias in Resident Evil: Vendetta (2017) and Clarus Amicitia in Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV (2016). His video game credits include Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XII, and Valkyria Chronicles. He was educated at Yale University and has taught at College of the Canyons, El Camino College, and the University of Southern California.
