Plot summary
Gupta owns a pawn shop in Las Vegas, and a customer brings him a leprechaun statue wearing a medallion. Warned not to touch it, Gupta takes the medallion off anyway. The leprechaun Lubdan comes to life and dashes off with his pot of gold, leaving a single coin behind. Gupta learns that the coin grants its holder one wish. Scott McCoy, a college student driving through town, gives a stranded motorist named Tammy Larsen a lift to the Lucky Shamrock Casino, where she works, and she gets him past the door. He gambles away his tuition money. A casino employee named Loretta tells him where he might sell his watch, and at the pawn shop Scott comes away with the coin.

- Screenwriter David DuBos had not seen the first two Leprechaun films when he pitched for the third, working from the single guideline "Leprechaun in Las Vegas." He beat six other writers for the job and had to write the script fast because production was about to start.
- Released direct-to-video by Vidmark Entertainment on June 27, 1995, Leprechaun 3 went on to become the highest selling independent direct-to-video film of 1995.
