Plot summary

Glenn Arias, a former CIA operative who became an arms dealer, blames the U.S. government for the drone strike that killed his family at his wedding, and he is developing bioweapons to bring into the country. BSAA agent Chris Redfield and his team enter a mansion in Mexico to reach their missing undercover source, and Chris comes out to face Arias. Four months on, Professor Rebecca Chambers studies the A-virus, which lies dormant until a trigger activates it. Maria attacks her research lab and releases the virus in aerosol form; Rebecca makes a vaccine for herself and Chris's team pulls her out. She traces the zombies' behavior to the Las Plagas bioweapon, so she and Chris set out to recruit Leon S. Kennedy, the DSO agent who once faced that cult.
