Jason Marsden
Biography
Jason Marsden is an American actor whose career has centered largely on voice roles in animated films, television, and video games. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he began professional acting in 1986 on General Hospital and soon took his first major film role in Robot Jox (1989). He played Eddie Munster in The Munsters Today and provided the voice for Cavin on Adventures of the Gummi Bears. He later voiced Thackery Binx in Hocus Pocus (1993), Goofy's son Max in A Goofy Movie (1995) and An Extremely Goofy Movie (2000), and he voiced Kovu for The Lion King II: Simba's Pride (1998). Other voice credits include the American dub of Spirited Away (2001), where he played Haku, Richie Foley, called Gear, in Static Shock, and several DC Comics animated roles. Marsden's first directing work was on The Journey of Allen Strange in 1997, and he wrote, produced, and edited his short The Greatest Short Film Ever!!! plus independent music videos.

A role that slipped away
Marsden's Boy Meets World role was named after him and was made for him by Michael Jacobs, the series creator and producer. After the second season he left, and Jack Hunter (Matthew Lawrence) took over in Seasons 5-7.
