Plot summary
In the Old West, an outlaw called Red Doc walks into a saloon and boasts that he can beat any man. Madame Lorraine, a prostitute, takes him upstairs, kills him, keeps his money, and has two henchmen hide the body. The bounty hunter Jonah Hex rides into the same town the following day, his disfigured face unsettling the people he passes. In the saloon he asks about Red Doc, who has a five thousand dollar bounty, and the bartender denies having seen him. The bar girl then tells Hex about Lorraine.
