Plot summary
Thomas McGregor and Bea are married, and Peter Rabbit has accepted Thomas in his life. Bea is writing a children's book about Peter and his friends, and Peter minds that it shows him as naughty. A publishing house offers to distribute it, so Thomas and Bea bring Peter, Benjamin and the sisters Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail to meet the publisher, Nigel Basil-Jones, whose marketing bills Peter as a troublemaker. Peter leaves the group and heads for town, where a rabbit called Barnabas, older than he is, says he once knew Peter's father.
