Plot summary
Hero work is illegal, and after a costly run-in with the Underminer the Parrs lose the government program that houses them. Winston Deavor and his sister Evelyn, who run the telecommunications company DevTech, want to win the public back to superheroes: cameras hidden in new suits record the supers in action. Winston picks Helen, Elastigirl, as the first hero the world sees, so the family moves into a mansion Winston owns while she goes out on missions. Bob stays behind to run the house, where Violet is upset about Tony, Dash needs help with his math, and baby Jack-Jack keeps showing powers no one knew about. A masked figure called the Screenslaver begins taking over screens to hypnotize people.

Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Incredibles 2 (2018)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Pixar's October 2016 swap of the release dates of Toy Story 4 and Incredibles 2 cost director Brad Bird's film a full year of production, so many of his plotlines and ideas were cut from the finished film.
- Disability advocates including the Epilepsy Foundation warned that the flashing lights in Elastigirl's fight with Screenslaver could trigger seizures in viewers with photosensitive epilepsy; theaters posted warnings at Disney's request, and a re-edited UK version altered the flashing to pass the Harding test.
- Because Pixar no longer used the systems from the 2004 original, every character in Incredibles 2 had to be created from scratch on the computer again, and the studio used physically based human eye models for the first time, which possibly made the eyes larger and more stylized than real humans'.
- Jonathan Banks voiced government agent Rick Dicker, taking over the role after its original voice actor Bud Luckey retired in 2014, and after Luckey died in 2018 the film was dedicated to his memory.
- Incredibles 2 was the fastest animated film to reach $1 billion at the box office, doing it in 46 days and beating Minions' 49 days, before The Lion King in 2019 (21 days) and The Super Mario Bros. Movie (25 days) went faster.
