Plot summary
The will of Cavanaugh Munster leaves Herman Munster and his wife Lily an English manor, Munster Hall in Shroudshire, and names Herman Lord Munster. The family crosses the Atlantic aboard the SS United States. Herman is seasick, Marilyn meets a suitor, Roger Moresby, and Grandpa, having swallowed a wolf pill, turns into a gray wolf and must be smuggled through British immigration and customs. At the hall, cousins Grace and Freddie are furious that the American Munsters have the estate and that Herman, not Freddie, is Lord Munster. With their mother, Lady Effigy, they try to frighten the newcomers, who feel entirely at home.
