Plot summary
A raid on a house nets dozens of exotic pythons for Dr. Nikki Riley and two fellow activists, who release the snakes in the Florida Everglades. The pythons reach alarming sizes and kill off native wildlife, threatening the ecosystem. Park Ranger Terry O'Hara gives local hunters permits to wipe out the snakes, which angers Nikki. Terry and Angie feed chickens injected with steroids, taken from Angie's grandson Manny, to wild alligators; one experimental serum in the mix blocks muscle growth inhibitors and makes the animals more aggressive. Nikki's group plants cameras across the Everglades to watch Terry and records the feedings. Months afterward, Dr. Diego Ortiz warns Terry that the giant pythons and the enlarged alligators have begun fighting each other across the Everglades.
