Plot summary
Five years of holographic stasis have passed for Norman Galagher since his arrest and sentencing as a terrorist, and a parole hearing is now set for him. Cronies of his engineer a failure in the equipment that holds him, and Galagher comes out of it as a living hologram whose powers are god-like. The man left to stop him is Kurt Decoda, who arrested Galagher when he was a police rookie.
