Plot summary
The parody poses as a long-lost 1988 television film adapted from Donald Trump's book The Art of the Deal. It opens in 1986, when a boy walks into Trump's office carrying the book. Trump takes a telephone call in which Merv Griffin turns down his bid for the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. To teach the boy about himself, Trump tells his life story in chapters. He recalls a homeless man he talks into frightening tenants from one of his buildings, and an argument with New York's mayor, Ed Koch.
