Plot summary
A dozen people are moving in different directions, each of them longing for something more than what they have. Their lives are about to intersect, and each is set to find a power in the cross of Christ, whether or not they believe in it yet. Matthew, a pastor, is shaken by how plainly a street-corner preacher believes what he preaches, and the encounter reminds him that belief has to be acted on.
