Plot summary

In 1981, Lorna calls her friend Tiny to the trailer to discuss the robbery of the Waldorf Savings & Loan in Red County. Tiny walks in on an unconscious Dale, laid out on the living room floor by a blow from Lorna's skillet. Lorna makes her case that Dale is the thief: red soil from Red County caked on his boots, a transfer he asked for at his job, and her only pair of stockings gone, the same kind the robber pulled over his head. Tiny answers that a man who robbed convenience stores in the past is not necessarily a bank robber. The two women tie Dale up and wake him so Lorna can accuse him to his face.
