Plot summary
At Oceanfront High School, female students are being killed by someone unknown. Ponce de Leon Harper, a student, is sexually frustrated by the provocative classmates around him. Michael "Tiger" McDrew, the football coach and guidance counselor, has frequent sexual encounters with female students. When Miss Smith arrives as a substitute teacher, Ponce develops a crush on her while presenting a class report on John Milton's Paradise Lost. Tiger encourages Ponce to seek her affections and tells Miss Smith that Ponce is impotent, suggesting she help him build confidence. Miss Smith invites Ponce to her home, where she reads poems by Milton to him to address his problem. Detective Sam Surcher investigates the killings.
