Plot summary
Terrance and Phillip, the Canadian comedians, have a new film, Asses of Fire, and the boys of South Park bribe a homeless man to get inside. Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski and his adopted brother Ike, Eric Cartman and Kenny McCormick come out swearing, and their classmates have seen the film as well. Wendy Testaburger prefers the company of transfer student Gregory, to Stan's jealousy. Mr. Mackey calls the boys to his office over their language, and their parents forbid them from seeing it again. Kyle's mother, Sheila Broflovski, gathers other parents into Mothers Against Canada, holding Canada responsible for the children's swearing.

Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- The MPAA warned Parker and Stone that exceeding 400 swear words in the script would trigger an automatic NC-17 rating, so the pair deliberately kept the film to exactly 399.
- The film's profanity earned it a 2001 Guinness World Record for Most Swearing in an Animated Movie, tallying 399 curse words, including 139 uses of "fuck," along with 128 offensive gestures and 221 acts of violence.
- When Paramount ignored Trey Parker and Matt Stone's objections to a trailer that misrepresented the film's tone and produced only minor changes on a second attempt, the pair broke the returned videocassette in half before sending it back to the studio.
- MPAA president Jack Valenti later said he regretted not giving the film an NC-17 rating, and the controversy pushed the MPAA to start adding detailed content descriptions alongside its ratings starting in 2000.
