Charlie Schlatter
Biography
Charlie Schlatter is an American actor who started out performing as a student at Fair Lawn High School in New Jersey and later studied at Ithaca College, where he completed a degree in musical theater. A casting director spotted him in a 1987 performance and asked him to try out for Bright Lights, Big City (1988), which became his first film. He starred in Heartbreak Hotel (1988) and in 18 Again! (1988), the comedy in which his teenage character swaps bodies with his grandfather, and that part was his most acclaimed. The Delinquents (1989) and Police Academy: Mission to Moscow (1994) followed. From 1995 to 2001 he played Dr. Jesse Travis on Diagnosis: Murder, and he wrote one of its episodes.
