Wingspan (2001) on Netflix

Plot summary

A documentary drawn from the family's photographs and home movies, with Paul McCartney talking to his daughter Mary. It opens with his meeting the photographer Linda Eastman in 1967, as relationships inside the Beatles were unraveling, and goes on through their marriage, his resignation from the band's partnership, his retreat from public life after the split, and the solo records that followed. He and Linda then form Wings, adding the drummer Denny Seiwell and the guitarists Denny Laine and Henry McCullough, and the film follows the new band's first tours and releases. It was made to accompany a two-disc retrospective of his solo work.
