Plot summary
Nine short films, each one adapted from a true story sent to Time Out magazine by a passenger on the London Underground. The segments were written and shot separately, on the Underground network itself. Among them: two inspectors chase a suspected fare dodger; a boy hears his father tell an untruth after the two witness an incident; a musician spins a fantasy about whoever owns a travel card left behind and put on display at a ticket window; a carriage of passengers stares at a well-groomed woman; travelers argue over what to do with a bird that has stunned itself against a window; a woman and her young daughter become parted on the platform, and while she searches in panic the child wanders into a world of her own imagining; and two thieves grab a briefcase.
