Thomas & Friends: Journey Beyond Sodor - The Movie (2017) on Netflix

Plot summary

A faulty signal at Vicarstown causes Henry the Green Engine to collide with another train, and he stays at the Steamworks for repairs, so The Fat Controller gives Henry's goods train to James the Red Engine. Thomas, who has been teased by James, thinks James is Sir Topham Hatt's favorite engine and decides to take the train himself. The Troublesome Trucks distract his driver, and Thomas ends up far off course. On the Mainland he runs into Beresford, a crane, and meets Lexi and Theo, two faulty experimental engines, who help him with coal and water and mention Merlin, an engine who believes he can become invisible. Thomas then reaches a Steelworks, where the engines Hurricane and Frankie urge him to stay.
