Plot summary
While Barbie and Teresa play music and write a song, Stacie arrives upset after a fight with her friend, so the two tell her a story about Liana and Alexa, friends who grow and sell flowers, love music, and have little to eat. A storm destroys their garden, and Liana gives her food to an old woman who leaves them a mirror. A girl named Melody speaks from inside it and teaches them a song, but a dragon named Slyder attacks and their cottage burns. Melody says she was an apprentice of the Muses Dori, Phaedra, and Lydia at the Diamond Castle; Lydia turned against them, the castle was hidden, and Melody holds its key. Lydia can be defeated if Liana and Alexa play the Muses' instruments, so they set out, adopting two puppies on the way.
