Plot summary
Virgil, Big Uzi and Light Skin perform as the Sweet Tea Mobsters, three rappers from Sweet Tea, Florida, who want fame. At a party, an elderly man tells the crowd about Freaknik, Atlanta's biggest party, which police broke up in 1998, and the group summons the Ghost of Freaknik Past. A radio announcer, Mr. Thanksgiving, says a rapping contest will be held, with a lifetime supply of money, clothes and women for the winner. The Mobsters, joined by their weed-supplying friend Doela Man, drive to Atlanta to enter. On the road, Light Skin describes the Boule, a secret society that guides Black culture, and the group stops at a college fraternity party, where four women in a car call out to Virgil.
