Plot summary
Paul has spent decades out of the spotlight, living quietly in Brentwood, California with his son Chase and his dog, doing the daily crossword and taking calls from Lucy, his ten-year-old granddaughter in Sydney. His agent brings word that the Queen wants to give him a knighthood for his comedy work, and Paul says no. A young production company then pitches a Crocodile Dundee reboot with Will Smith as his son; Paul objects that the casting makes no sense, and the company calls him a racist. On Hollywood Boulevard he challenges a Dundee impersonator, who sets his costumed kids on him, and the photographs label Paul the aggressor. When Lucy tells him her classmates laughed at the news, he asks his agent to get the knighthood back.
