Rob Carlton

Rob Carlton is an Australian actor and writer who has worked professionally since he was 14. Born in Australia in 1971, he trained at Sydney's Australian Theatre for Young People in screen and stage acting. His best known work is Chandon Pictures, the comedy series he created and headlined, and he also appeared in the satire The Hollowmen and starred in the Netflix adaptation of Boy Swallows Universe. His television credits include A Country Practice, Blue Heelers, McLeod's Daughters and All Saints, and his films include You Can't Stop the Murders (2003), Strange Bedfellows and Emu Runner. In 2011 he played Kerry Packer in Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo, a role that was well received and won him a Silver Logie in 2012. He had a supporting part in Any Questions for Ben? (2012), and his short Carmichael & Shane, which he wrote, co-produced and co-directed, won Tropfest in 2006 and brought him a Best Male Actor award.
