Plot summary
Cut from television shows, B-movies, commercials, newsreels, blooper reels, music clips, satiric shorts and films made to promote products or government programs, the compilation sets out to stir nostalgia for entertainment that early baby boomers shared. Passages from Attack of the 50 Foot Woman and Speed Crazy run through it, and segments drawn from about a dozen other features and shows are cut in around them. Together the excerpts play as one disjointed story in which monsters and assorted social menaces fall on American cities and towns at once. Commercial breaks and side features interrupt that thread, and audiences are invited to sing along with theme songs.
