Plot summary
Grand Fenwick is a small European duchy whose only export is wine, and the current vintage explodes in the faces of the people who buy it. Prime Minister Rupert Mountjoy asks the United States for a loan, saying the money is for space research. He wants it to rescue the duchy's finances and install modern plumbing. The Americans send twice the sum he requested. The Soviets, not wanting to be outdone, deliver an obsolete rocket.

Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Peter Sellers played three roles in the first Mouse film but did not return for the sequel; Margaret Rutherford and Ron Moody took over two of his characters, and the third, Tully Bascombe, was dropped from the story.
- The production was made on sets left over from Cornel Wilde's film Sword of Lancelot, reusing another production's scenery for the Grand Fenwick space-race comedy instead of having its own built.
