Plot summary
Lured by Apache gold, two troopers of a cavalry unit leave their post with a Gatling gun, killing fellow troopers to take it. Carrying the rapid-fire weapon across the country takes help, so the pair brings the pacifist preacher Reverend Harper along. Lieutenant Wayne Malcolm leads a patrol after them to recover the gun. Two-Knife and his Apache band want the weapon too and call it the King Gun; they are ready to offer gold, or to sacrifice men, to get it. Rancher Jim Boland, the scout Runner and a man nicknamed Tin Pot join the effort to keep it from Two-Knife.
