Plot summary
Ray lives in Dunmanor, an Irish retirement home for superheroes, and feels forgotten by the public. His grandchildren even prefer a new hero, Celestro. At a resident's birthday party, Jerry loses control of his powers, so warden Alicia has his abilities suppressed. Jerry dies soon after, leaving Ray suspicious. During a town visit for Hero Day, Ray sees young people using Jerry's powers and suspects the retirement home is selling stolen abilities. Celestro refuses to help, so Ray teams up with his former sidekick Ted and slips away to investigate. They tail the youths and interrupt a car theft, and their actions are reported as a misunderstanding. Alicia announces that Ray will be suppressed, and the other residents are tested and almost all ordered to undergo the same procedure.
