Plot summary

Raymond Wadsworth holds a business degree and can find no work, so he leaves his city apartment and returns to his hometown, where his mother Eve is having the house and yard renovated and his father Donald coaches high school football. A construction crew digging on the property uncovers a child's remains in a wooden box. The foreman, Hector, took a necklace off the corpse and told his men to cover the grave again without telling anyone. After Hector is pulled into a bush by something unseen and comes back incoherent, one of his workers warns Raymond about the body. Raymond notices strange events all through the house, and Becca, a former classmate tending bar in town, urges him to trust the sensitivity to the supernatural he had as a child.
