Plot summary
The film gathers twenty-six short chapters, one for every letter of the alphabet, each the work of a different director, and the filmmakers come from fifteen countries. The idea draws on the alphabet books used to teach children. Every director took a letter, picked a word, and built a tale of death around that word; the deaths range from accidents to murders. A contest decided who would take the twenty-sixth chapter, and the winning entry, a claymation short, was made for the letter T. Blood pours from a funnel and floods the rooms of a house, then a smaller room, where letter blocks float to the top and spell the title. The same blocks announce each chapter, and red closes one segment and opens the next.
