  1. About the name

Bergman was credited as Shannen Cassidy, a name taken from Shannen Doherty and David Cassidy, for the first two seasons of South Park because she feared Disney would remove her as the voice of Snow White.

  2. First role

At 16, Bergman landed her first professional acting role in Return Engagement, a television film that starred Elizabeth Taylor. Her scene near the end of the movie was cut out.

  3. Early training

Voice-over teacher Kat Lehman noticed Bergman's impersonation of Ethel Merman. Bergman took all of Lehman's voice acting classes, and after the last one she made a demo tape that reached her first voice-acting agency.
