Plot summary
As winter approaches, Tinker Bell helps Fawn take the animals into the Winter Woods to get ready for hibernation. Fairies from the warmer seasons may not cross the border, because the cold damages their wings. Curious, Tinker Bell steps over, and her wings begin to sparkle. Fawn pulls her back. Tinker Bell looks for an answer in a book, but the page on sparkling wings is unfinished, and its author, the Keeper, lives on the winter side. Tucking her wings under a coat, she slips inside a delivery of snowflake baskets headed for the Woods. Lord Milori comes upon the book and sends it to the Keeper, the frost fairy Dewey, and Tinker Bell follows it into the library. Periwinkle, a frost fairy, rushes in, her wings sparkling as Tinker Bell's do.
