Trace Adkins
Biography
Trace Adkins, a country singer and actor from Louisiana, began his recording career with the 1996 album Dreamin' Out Loud. He has released further studio albums and two greatest hits collections, and more than twenty of his singles have appeared on Billboard's country chart. Three of those singles reached number one, among them (This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing and You're Gonna Miss This. In 1997 the Academy of Country Music named him Top New Male Artist, and he became a Grand Ole Opry member in 2003. He is known for a deep bass-baritone voice. On television, he was a Celebrity Apprentice finalist in 2008 and later won the All-Star edition, voiced Elvin on King of the Hill, and played Albie Roman on Monarch. His screen credits include The Lincoln Lawyer (2011), Moms' Night Out (2014), I Can Only Imagine (2018) and Old Henry (2021).
