Rick Rossovich
Biography
Rick Rossovich, born Frederic Enrico Rossovich on August 28, 1957, in Palo Alto, California, is a retired American actor who grew up in Grass Valley and began acting in the early 1980s. His first major film role came as Cadet First Lieutenant Dante Pignetti in The Lords of Discipline (1983). He gained wider recognition as Ron Slider Kerner in Top Gun (1986), then appeared in The Terminator (1984), Streets of Fire (1984), Warning Sign (1985), Let's Get Harry (1986), The Morning After (1986), the Golden Globe-nominated Roxanne (1987), and Spellbinder (1988). In 1990 he played Corpsman James Leary in Navy Seals. On television he starred in the crime drama Pacific Blue, which ran for five seasons on the USA Network, and played Dr. John Taglieri during the first season of ER. He later appeared in Miracle in Lane 2 before retiring in the 2000s and attempting a return with Sandbar in 2012.
