A change of course
Before acting paid off, Graham worked as a waitress and tutored SAT test prep for The Princeton Review, and wore the Striker dog mascot costume for the 1994 FIFA World Cup.
Beyond film
Graham played Miss Adelaide in a Guys and Dolls revival, marking her Broadway debut. Previews started February 5, 2009, at the Nederlander Theatre, the official opening was March 1, 2009, and the run ended June 14 with 121 shows and 28 previews.
A role that slipped away
Graham was confirmed in June 2010 to star in Scream 4, but she departed the project on June 30, 2010.
Behind the camera
Starting with the season seven episode To Whom It May Concern, Graham was a producer on Gilmore Girls for the rest of that season. TV Guide said the role was given to her to try to get her to commit to an eighth season.
Behind the camera
Graham's debut novel Someday, Someday, Maybe, drawn from her years trying to make it as an actress in 1990s New York, reached the New York Times best seller list in May 2013.
